This role involves supporting student welfare, discipline, and daily operations within a boarding school environment.
β Qualifications & Requirements
- Ugandan national with a UCE or Diploma in:
- Education
- Social Work
- Counselling or related field
- Age: 21β35 years (preferably single)
- 2β3 yearsβ experience in a boarding school or youth supervision role
- Strong skills in:
- Discipline and mentoring
- Guidance and counselling
- High integrity, patience, and emotional resilience
- Ability to live on-site during school operations
π Key Responsibilities
- Discipline & Supervision β Maintain order and enforce school rules
- Dormitory Management β Ensure cleanliness, safety, and daily inspections
- Student Welfare β Support student well-being and respond to emergencies
- Routine Management β Oversee wake-up, meals, prep time, and lights out
- Communication β Report to staff, maintain records, attend meetings
- Student Development β Guide activities and promote life skills
